Summary
The Spirit Bear is a feature length CGI -animated movie. Produced by Melwood Pictures and He Lade Productions, the film is expected to be the first major motion picture made for the purpose of protecting its namesake - Canada‘s white Kermode bear. He lade Productions will designate a portion of the film‘s profits to the He lade Foundation to help finance the conservation of the the bears‘ habitat. The Spirit Bear will be set on Canada‘s west coast - the only known home of the threatened gentle giant - and will take the audience on a heart-felt journey of exploration and learning through the eyes of one very special bear cub.

The Spirit Bear aims to be Hollywood's first movie made with the specific purpose of protecting its namesake. A creative team responsible for many of the animated classics of our time - Lion King, Beauty and the Beast, The Little Mermaid has been assembled, and the movie is currently in production.
