Billy Flynn, a sleazy lawyer who represents Roxie Hart.

How Kevin Got the Role
Chicago contacted the booking agent that did all of the Backstreet Boys' concert bookings. They called Kevin and said, "Would you be interested in playing the role of Billy Flynn?" Kevin replied, "Are you kiddin' me? Of course!"

Summary
In roaring twenties Chicago, Roxie Hart, an ambitious chorus girl, murders her lover. She then convinces her gullible husband, Amos, that her lover was in fact a burglar. Amos agrees to take the rap until the police convince him that the burglar was in fact Roxie's lover. Thus, Roxie goes to jail and joins another famous stage performer and murderess, Velma Kelly. Both Roxie and Velma are headline hunters seeking to capitalize on pre-trial publicity for the sake of acquittal and stage careers. In the end their tricky lawyer, Billy Flynn, manages to get both Roxie and Velma free. However, another woman shoots up the courthouse and steals the limelight - effectively ending the careers of both Roxie and Velma.

Broadway Run: 20 January 2003 - 6 March 2003
Kevin replaced Billy Zane in the musical, performing his first show at the Shubert Theatre on Jaunary 20th. The production then moved to the Ambassador Theatre on January 29th, where Kevin played the role until March 6th. He was originally supposed to perform the role until March 9th, but a musicians' strike on Broadway cancelled his last 2 performances.

Pittsburg Run: 26 July 2003 - 27 July 2003
Kevin performed at the Pittsburgh Symphony Heinz Hall on Saturday, 26th July, for the 2PM and 8PM shows. He also performed 2 shows on Sunday, 27th July, at 1PM and 5PM.

San Francisco Run: 4 August 2003 - 24 August 2003
Kevin joined the new touring company of Chicago for 3 weeks from August 4th to August 23rd, beginning at the Golden Gate Theatre in San Francisco. He then moved to the West End to reprise his role.

West End Run: 22 September 2003 - 1 November 2003
Kevin reprised his Broadway role on the West End in London, performing at the Aldephi Theatre from 22nd September to 1st November.
